What have we learned in the three years since ChatGPT entered our classrooms and conversations? What are educators doing and trying and how can we learn from one another? We now know that AI can be more than just a tool for efficiency—it can be a catalyst for creativity, deeper thinking, and reimagined workflows. But with its rapid evolution comes a need for more intentional, thoughtful integration in education.
AI: Next Steps for Educators empowers teachers and school leaders with deeper understanding, confidence, and readiness in their AI use. Designed to be experienced on your own timeline and in three hours or less, participants will be guided through deeper dives into generative AI tools (supporting image and voice creation, research, and project planning) and will take action for greater efficiency, personalization, and engagement. Design sprints invite brainstorming, problem solving, and content creation with AI.
This course is an asynchronous experience with collaborative sharing spaces. It offers choice in how you engage and what you create and share. Intended as a next-step (and new content) from GOA’s foundational AI: Essentials for Educators, participants across AI skill levels are welcome. (If you are new to AI use, we recommend beginning with GOA’s free course AI: Essentials for Educators).
